Terms & Conditions of Hire
A £50 deposit is required for each chosen week.- This will secure a booking. When booking by phone ensure that the deposit reaches us within five days or the booking will not be confirmed. The deposit is non-refundable. Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to CV Caravan Holidays. A receipt will be issued which will confirm your booking, and show the amount outstanding which must be received six weeks before the start of your selected period. In the event of full payment not being received by the due date, we reserve the right to re-let the caravan. Should you book one month or less before your holiday the full amount becomes due immediately, including the deposit of £50
•Conditions Of Hire
We are unable to accept bookings from anyone under 21 years of age or from single sex groups. Devon Cliffs is a family Holiday park. Individuals causing nuisance to other holiday makers or site staff may be asked to leave. In these circumstances no refunds will be made. All caravans must be vacated by 10:00am on the day of departure to ensure that thorough cleaning and inventory checking can be completed prior to the next letting period. No keys will be released before 2:30 pm (unless by prior arrangement) on the day of arrival. The caravan must be left in a clean and tidy condition. The hirer is responsible for all members of the party. All breakage's or damage must be paid for in full.
• Holiday Cancellation
If you have to cancel your holiday, you must do so in writing & send it to the address shown on your booking form. The date of cancellation will be the date of receipt of written notification.
Cancellation six weeks (42 days) or sooner prior to Holiday Dates booked = Full refund of any monies paid less deposit.
Cancellations made 41 - 21 days before your holiday date, we will refund 40% of the total paid less deposit.
Cancellation made 20 - 14 days days before your holiday date, we will refund 30% of the total paid less deposit.
If for any reason you are unable to take your holiday due to accident or illness we must be advised immediately by telephone and this fact confirmed in writing as soon as possible with an accompanying Doctors certificate. If written notice is received 14 days or sooner prior to the start of the holiday period booked, we will return 25% of any money paid minus the deposit.
• Holiday Insurance:
We recommend that you purchase holiday insurance from a local broker, to cover your personal luggage, personal money & personal and public liability etc. This cover should not be too expensive.
* Linen:- Duvets, Pillows and Mattress covers are Supplied. Hirers are asked to bring their own:- Duvet Covers, Sheets, Pillow Slips, Tea -Towels & Towels. - (these items may be hired from CV Holidays or from the site hire shop if required).
* Patio / Garden furniture:- Please do not remove from verandas or patios.
* Parking:- Please try to avoid parking on the grass (site rules). All vehicles are left, or parked at the owners risk.
* Park Rules:- These
are displayed on the park. please ensure that they are complied with. (NB.The
Private Owners in our group Do not Own the Site and accordingly cannot
accept liability for alterations to any facilities or entertainments advertised)
FREE HOLIDAY OFFER > CONDITIONS:
For Entry to Draw for the One weeks FREE Holiday OFFER> -- (held in conjunction with www.cvholidays.co.uk)
To be eligible for inclusion in the DRAW: which will be conducted at the end of August 2007 the following conditions apply:
1. Entries will be limited only to holidaymakers who have PAID for their requested holiday dates in FULL, before the Dates requested & have received notification in writing from us confirming receipt of payment and the holiday dates of their booking.
2. (Holidaymakers who have booked and paid for more than one week will be entered multiple times in accordance with the number of weeks booked.)
3. THE FREE HOLIDAY will be in one of our Luxury 'Gold Standard' Three Bedroomed Bermuda Caravans and is limited to a Maximum of 6 persons for one Week
This FREE Holiday may be taken at any time after the 8th September to 13th October 2007. (The Draw will be carried out under the supervision of an independent arbitrator. Details to be specified prior to the event.) -
If the FREE Holiday period dates are not possible, the same offer will apply to weeks from April - May 2008 excluding Easter & and Spring Bankholidays.
